Lovemark also will play with the Nike's ONE Tour D ball. Lovemark was the 2007 NCAA National Player of the Year and went 3-0 during the 2007 Walker Cup competition. he has competed in several PGA Tour events as an amateur, with his best finish being a tie for 39th at the 2007 Buick Invitational. He finished second after losing in a playoff at the Nationwide Tour's 2007 Showdown at Somerby.

“Jamie is a solid player who has all of the ingredients to be a force on the PGA Tour,” said Kel Devlin, Global Sports Marketing Director for Nike Golf, said in the release. “He’s such a natural athlete and is a terrific ball striker. We are confident that he will shine as a Nike Golf athlete and are thrilled to have him join the Nike family.”

In 2007 during the telecast of the U.S. Amateur, Lovemark proved to Gary Koch (and everyone else) that he's got plenty of talent and versatility in his game.
