Nike are getting there with the SQ Sumo 5000. This is an improvement on the previous model and the quality of strike is there, but it just doesn't sound right. The noise at impact if anything has got worse, even worse than the square headed version. Also the ball doesn't seem to fly of the clubface, more of a dull dunt.
Well from going from hitting my old driver about 220 yards at the bounce, I'm now hitting about 250 yards and they are going a lot straighter. I bought the regular shaft so I don't have to give it all my might when teeing up at the start of a round. It looks good and sounds different but great.
