The two Scots are among the 10 players selected for the match against the United States at Merionn Golf Club in Pennsylvania on September 12-13.
Along with Callum MacAulay, who has since turned professional, the pair guided Scotland to the Eisenhower Trophy in Australia last October.
Booth's inclusion makes it an impressive family double after younger sister Carly appeared in the Curtis Cup as a 15-year-old last year.
The Walker Cup squad will make a trip to Valderrama on August 9-12 as part of advance preparations for the match and will ultimately be named as the confirmed team subject to no British or Irish player winning the US Amateur Championship at Southern Hills on August 24-30.
The announcement of the final team will immediately follow the conclusion of the US Amateur, or when no eligible player remains in the championship.
